The Looper is a Space Portal. It can send you in a random direction through space.

In case of a mishap, it stores a copy of your consciousness (Within the walls of the Skull) for you to return to . It also has a Multi-Verse homing light (NOT TO BE TURNED OFF during your space travel) that will guide you back through space to your origin. As it is the first of it's kind, and with a resolution of only 5 Light Years, the accuracy with which you can chose what distance you will travel is relatively low. As mentioned, the direction of your travel in space is also completely random.
These factors will only add to the fun and excitement of your adventure.
